Living Nature

I wonder if trees
Like where they grow
Debating over each other
Fighting for the best spot
To be recognized
Or to be forgotten

I wonder if leaves
Like being sacrificed
Instead of staying
With their loved ones
But being blown
Away

I wonder if they question
The trees
Or know their sacrifice
Is for goodness
To spread new life
And harmony

I wonder if the trees
Love feeling the fate
Of the leaves
To be sacrificed for survival
And shelter
Or know some of their sacrifices
Are for nothing

If they question their fate
And wonder their purpose
Or if they are like the leaves
Knowing their inevitable death

Will they survive...?
Accept their fate...?
Or deny and die...?
